Oklahoma City Tenshinkai Aikido Dojo is a member of the International Tenshinkai Aikido Federation, which originated from Vietnam, and is recognized by the Aikido World Headquarters in Japan. The name Tenshinkai was given by O'Sensei Morihei Ueshiba in 1968. 'Ten' means Heaven, 'Shin' means Heart, and 'Kai' means Organization. Putting them together gives Tenshinkai the meaning of the Organization of Heavenly Hearts.

Quang VanTran is the Sensei and head instructor at the dojo. Sensei VanTran has over 40 years of experience in Aikido, and holds a 2nd degree black belt in this martial art. There are also other black belt students who assist with teaching.

The dojo is located in western Oklahoma City. We have afternoon classes on Mondays & Wednesdays at 6:00PM. Other early morning classes (6:00AM) are available by arrangement. Visitors are always welcome.
